Anxiety

Virtual therapy in Ontario

“Anxiety just wants to protect you—it’s trying to prevent hurt or failure.”

– Alia Siddiqi, MC, RP

No matter how much you try to shake it, the big black cloud just won’t go away.

Anxiety isn’t just stress; it’s a constant, nagging voice in the back of your mind, questioning every decision you make.

At work, it’s replaying a conversation with your boss over and over, trying to figure out if you sounded competent.

It’s saying yes to extra tasks, even when you’re already overwhelmed, because the thought of saying no feels worse.

Anxiety has you shrinking inward, doubting your instincts, and feeling like you have to keep everything together, even when you’re falling apart inside.

Now imagine this: anxiety still shows up, but it doesn’t call all the shots anymore.

You’re able to quiet the “what ifs” enough to focus on what actually matters.

At work, you’re setting boundaries—saying no without spiraling into guilt—and speaking up in a way that feels confident and clear.

You’re no longer avoiding hard conversations or tiptoeing around conflict.

You’re shrinking that big black cloud into something manageable.

Why choose us?

Anxiety isn’t something you “cure.” But it is something you can manage, and that’s where we come in.

We help you learn to spot the patterns that keep anxiety in control—like overthinking, people-pleasing, or staying silent—and replace them with tools that actually work.

Whether it’s professional anxiety, trouble setting boundaries, or feeling like you can’t quiet the noise in your head, we’re here to help you get back in the driver’s seat.

Using modalities like Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavior therapy our therapists integrate multiple therapeutic approaches through a psychodynamic foundation to promote effective and long-term therapeutic outcomes.

→ Professionals struggling with work anxiety, imposter syndrome, or burnout.

→ People who avoid setting boundaries because the guilt feels unbearable.

→ Anyone who feels stuck in their head, replaying conversations or overthinking decisions.

→ Individuals who want to manage their anxiety instead of being controlled by it.

→ Those ready to stop shrinking inward and start living more confidently.
