Virtual Therapy in Ontario
Therapy from wherever you feel most at ease. The Therapy Couch offers secure video sessions with registered psychotherapists to adults anywhere in Ontario, in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
You want a therapist who understands South Asian family dynamics, but there isn't one near you.
Your schedule leaves no room for a commute: shift work, long office days, a young child at home.
You would rather not be seen walking into a therapy office.
You want sessions in Urdu, Punjabi or Hindi, or to move between languages as you speak.
You live outside the GTA, from Ottawa to Windsor to Northern Ontario.

How virtual sessions work
Book a free 15-minute consult. A short call to talk about what's bringing you in and whether we're a good fit.
Get matched. We suggest the clinician whose focus, language and availability fit you best.
Join from a private space. Sessions run on Jane, a secure platform built for health care. You get a link by email; no download needed.
Meet on your schedule. Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly or biweekly. We will accommodate your schudales wither thats evenings or weekends.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in person?
For most concerns people bring to therapy, including anxiety and relationship issues, research finds video sessions comparable to in-person care. Many clients find it easier to open up from home. If you'd rather meet face to face, some clinicians also see clients at our Mississauga location.
